Bennie Maurice Gibbs (Rusty) was born on November 4th, 1926 in Youngsport, Texas to Bennie & Marylee Gibbs. He went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2020. He was an only child. Rusty believed in his Lord and Savior. He grew up riding a horse behind his grandfather Gibbs from a young age. He started helping his family at the age of 5 picking cotton and helping at the ranch. On October 10, 1948, he married the love of his life Dee Gibbs at the age of 21. They were married for 52 years. They built their home together were they raised their 3 girls. He was a cement mason and a lifelong farmer and rancher. He was proceeded in death by his wife Dee Gibbs. He is survived by his daughters; Marcie McDonald Bowe of Austin; Delores (Tootie) Inman and her husband Gerald Inman of Hubbard Texas. Their sons Russell Ward of Youngsport Texas and his daughter Shawnia Ward. Jamie Ward and his wife Jennifer Ward of Youngsport Texas and their sons Cody Ward and Aaron Davis; Linda Merrill and her husband David Merrill of Blum Texas and their three children Jack Merrill and wife Ashley of Blum Texas and their boys Levi and Luke Merrill. Daughter Candice Jones and her husband Casey Jones of Waxahachie Texas and their two boys Case and Colton Jones; Daughter Dallas Merrill of Whitney Texas and her daughter Taryn Ross.
