Bio
Mary Ann Hyatt, a life long member of the Church of God, departed this life Friday afternoon, April 10, 1936. She was born March 3, 1851 and was aged 85 years, 1 month and 7 days at her departure. Her husband, David Hyatt, preceded her in death 25 years ago. She is survived by three sons and one daughter - Manney Hyatt of Connellsville, Lloyd Hyatt of Confluence, Ira Hyatt and Minnie Hyatt Conn at home. She also leaves a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by the following bothers and sisters: Christene Weyant of Connellsville, Louise Crow of Dunbar, Sara Cross of Tars, PA, Elizabeth Morrison of Wierton, VA and W. R. Wills of Ursina. The following brothers and sisters preceded her in death: Alice King, Rosalenna Heinbaugh, Kathryn Daniels, Joseph, John and Jacob Wills. Funeral services were held in the Jersey Baptist Church, Sunday afternoon, April 12. The Ursina choir assisted with the singing. Rev. A. V. Jeffers officiated. Charles B. Humbert was in charge of the funeral arrangements. A large crowd attended the funeral.
