Robert E. Stout, age 79, of Highland, formerly of Whiting, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. He is survived by his children: Brenda (Jerome) Kobeszka, Paula (Mike) Maggi, and Saundra (Adam) Hoover; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; siblings: Shirley (Phillip) Stewart, George (Sue) Stout, Leila (Bob) Page, Jim (Charlene) Stout and Rhonda Falk; sister-in-law: Nora Stout; special friends: Barb Iler and Wendy Robinson. Preceded in death by his parents: Verland and Hennrietta Stout; son, Robert S.; daughter, Loreli; brothers: Frank, Verland, and Harry; great-grandson, Atlas. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45th Avenue, Griffith, with Rev. Alex Stone officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home. Bob was an Air Force Veteran and retired from Lever Brothers in Whiting. The Times (Munster, IN.) Feb. 13, 2015, Fri. ------------------------- Robert married Wanda L. Hoover in Lake County, Indiana on Mar. 30, 1955.
