Bio

Born in Haileyville, Alabama, she was the daughter of Mannley and Nancy (Burns) Davis. She lived a short time in Arizona where she worked as a driver at Douglas Air Force Base. She lived most of her adult life in California working in the shipyards as a tool checker during World War II. She had lived in McAlester since 1997 and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Frank Phifer; four brothers, and one sister.
