Services for Ruby Skelton Henderson will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison, Texas. Burial will be at Caledonia Cemetery, Rusk County. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time. Ruby was born April 6, 1930, in Garrison, Texas, to Walter Travis Curry and Eva Lee (Conway) Curry. She went home to her Lord Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, in Garrison, Texas. Survivors include her son, Troy Wayne Skelton and wife, Cathy, of Garrison, Texas; daughters, Sue Strelsky and husband, Bob, of Garrison, Texas, and Judy Master and husband, Matt, of Lindale, Texas; stepdaughter, Marcia Hovet and husband, Myron, of North Dakota; grandchildren, Christie Stokes and husband, Jerry, of Garrison,Texas, Marc Cranford of Garrison, Texas, Leigh Cranford of Garrison, Texas, Melinda Lee and husband, Jimmy Wayne, of Garrison, Texas, Kristal Baith and husband, Matt, of Chapel Hill, Texas, and Gregory Ortiz and wife, Casey, of Lindale,Texas; stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth, Craig and Michael; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia Beard of Garrison, Texas, and Joyce Tidwell and husband, Max, of Henderson, Texas; and sister-in-laws, Ruby Curry of Garrison, Texas, and Ludie Curry of Timpson, Texas. She was preceded in death by husbands, Troy J. Skelton and W.R. "Tar" Henderson; infant daughter, Linda Gail; and grandchildren, Troy Jason (TJ) Skelton and Lesha Skelton Johnson.
