Camelia was noted previously. **** The Wood River Sunbeam Thursday 19 Mar 1908, p. 1 Young Lady Passes Away Dies Very Suddenly Last Saturday Morning Miss Ida Cornelia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Moriarity, formerly of this place but now of Ravenna died very suddenly last Saturday, while visiting with her sister, Mrs. Walter Rydberg at Maxwell. The body was brought to Wood River and the funeral services held Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church. Her death was very unexpected for only three days ago she went to MAxwell to make her home with her sister. She was stricken with inflammatory rheumatism and passed away Saturday morning at six o'clock. She was fourteen years, none months and twenty-two days of age. She was born at Cambridge, Nebraska and lived there until 1903 when she moved to Wood River with her parents, living later at Cairo adn then at Ravenna where her parents now reside. She has a sister, Mrs. N. D. Mann living at Cairo and Mrs. Clyde McCormick at Wood River. She was a very bright young lady and one who had many friends. Her sudden death is lamented by many. Rev. Paxton of the Methodist church conducted the fuenral services and the remains were laid to rest in the Wood River cemetery. ***** Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Tuesday, 17 March 1908, page 4 "In Town and Township - WOOD RIVER" Miss Ida Moriarty, a girl fourteen years of age was buried yesterday from the Methodist church. She died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Walter Rydberg at Maxwell (Neb.) , where she had gone but a few days previous to care for her sister who was sick. While there she was stricken with inflammatory rheumatism and died shortly after. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Moriarty who live near Ravenna and was a sister to Mrs. Clyde McCormick of this place. Rev. Paxton of the Methodist church conducted the funeral services and the remains were laid to rest in the Wood River cemetery.
