Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Tuesday, 27 May 1919 "Briefs From All Around The County - Jackson" Mrs. C. B. Lux died at a hospital in Omaha, Tuesday, May 13. The body was shipped to Wood River. The funeral was held Friday May 16 from the Methodist church. Rev. Foreman had charge, interment being made in the Wood River cemetery. She was survived by a husband, one son, Elton, one daughter, Gladys and her mother, Mrs. Pearl Hansen, one brother and three sisters. She leaves a host of friends who deeply mourn her death and who extend to the bereaved relatives their heartfelt sympathy.
