Married to Tollie Estelle PettyjohnJuly 10, 1953-November 18, 1991 Leslie R. McHam Jr. passed away from this world November 17, 2020 at the age of 71. He was born to Helen and Leslie McHam Sr. August 9, 1949 in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls. Leslie was a master level welder and retired from Walker-Neer Manufacturing in 2019. He was a skilled craftsman and could create just about anything from wood or metal. He was a proud standing member of the Wichita Falls Fire & Police Museum where he volunteered his time and talents. Anytime there was a parade in the area he would be seen proudly driving the retired 1969 FTI. Leslie was an avid outdoorsmen, he had a true passion for fishing and could be found most evenings on a lake somewhere with his furry companion Buddy. He shared his love for all of the above with his family and friends and especially enjoyed teaching his grandsons all of his tips and tricks on fishing. He was a kind and giving person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who truly needed it. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Barbara Stoddard. He is survived by his best friend and brother Barney McHam, his children John & Tessa McHam, April McHam, James & Crystal Turner, Brandon & Melissa Miser and Deon Morin. His beloved Grandchildren, John, Parker, Lilly, Allison, Ryan, Preston, Hayden, Bella, Brayden, Brynlee, Ella & Hannah. Due to the current pandemic the family has chosen to hold a private service.
