Cary Darden Tobolka (February 24, 1952 – June 19, 2018) Cary Darden Tobolka entered heavenly life on June 19, 2018. Cary is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Mary Kwilosz Tobolka, cherished daughters Christine (Kevin) Rentfro and Brooke Tobolka, and precious granddaughters Adyson, Ashtyn, and Avery Rentfro. He was the loving son of Henry and JoAnn Tobolka, treasured brother of Michael Tobolka (Ann) and Ted Tobolka (Tricia), dear brother-in-law to Kathy (Ron) Bates, Pat Riedel, Theresa Kwilosz, and Anne (George) Hill, a most cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and a devoted life-long friend to many. Cary lived life to the fullest, enjoyed his family and friends, and was a passionate lover of the outdoors. He spent countless weekends hunting, fishing, and golfing. He excelled in competitive club swimming, basketball, and football at Bishop Lynch High School, and was a proud member of the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team. His greatest delight in recent years was spending time with his family; especially his beautiful granddaughters. Cary’s strong and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018, at St. Patrick’s Church, 9643 Ferndale Road, Dallas, Tx 75238, at 10:00 am, followed by a reception in the Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests you contribute to the worthy charity of your choice.
