Annie Mikus was the daughter of Josef "Joseph" and Anna (Filla) Mikus , wife of Frantisek Joseph "Frank" Hurta , mother of Sophie Anna , Emma Ella , Albina Helen , Louis Alvin , Edwin Edward , Alphon Willie , and Frank Joe Hurta . And Anna was born in Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia didn't become the Czech Republic until 1 January 1993. She was 78. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Taylor Brothers, Bay City, and the last rites are set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hawley cemetery at El Maton.
