Bio

Monnie Earl Weems, was taken to his Heavenly home on November 2, 2020. He was born to the late Lewis William Weems and Cliffie Bradshaw Weems on September 16, 1942 in Winnsboro, Texas. Mr. Weems owned and operated Weems Logging Company for many years and was a Deacon at Fellowship Baptist Church. Monnie is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda Sue Rhodes Weems; son Monnie Joe Weems and wife Carla, daughter Melinda Ramos and husband Ruben, brother Jim Bob Weems and wife Sherrill, Allen Weems and wife Janie, sisters Cynthia Weems, Virginia Quinn and Jane Weems; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Visitation Thursday, November 5th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, Bro. Paul Chandler to officiate.
