Bio
Betty Sue Hendley, of Wills Point, Texas, was born on November 5, 1934, to Lorene and J.D. Lout in Houston, Texas. She married Carter Hendley, Sr. on November 15, 1952, in Houston, Texas. Betty worked at Texas Instruments and retired from the City of Terrell in 1999. She enjoyed traveling and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club. She attended as a member at Wills Point Church of Christ. To cherish her memories, Betty leaves behind her son, Carter Hendley, Jr., of Wills Point; daughter, Tammy Eskew of Wills Point; grandchildren Charles Alan Jones and Lily of Riverside, California, and Misty Dawn Stone and Freddie of Nashville, Tennessee; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law, Dan and Pat Hendley, and Bob and Norma Holt. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers, Maurice Lout and Glen Lout; daughter-in-law Donna Hendley. Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 23, 2020, at Wills Point Church of Christ, at 2:00 p.m. under the care of Allan Fuller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Parkinson’s Stimulation Center of your choice.
