Bio
Vlasta Hermina Rozacky, 93, formerly of Taylor and Granger died Thursday, July 18, 2002 at Heartland Healthcare in Austin. Family visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Saturday at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Celebration of Life Services will 2 PM, Sunday at Taylor Brethren Church, 710 Sloan, with Rev. James Hejl officiating. Burial to follow at Capital Memorial Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Vlasta was born on January 26, 1909 to Frances ( Mikus) and Frank Hunka. On July 3, 1929, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Emil Rozacky and their partnership in life continued for 58 years until his death in 1987. Mrs. Rozacky was a life long resident of the Taylor area and was employed by several businesses. She was a member of the Taylor Brethren Church, the SPJST Lodge #29 and the Christian Sisters. She was past secretary of the Mutual Aid Society and a former member of the Williamson County A&M Mothers' Club. She was retired from the Austin State School. Preceding her in death were her parents; son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Becky Rozacky; daughter, Lillian Wallace; son-in-law, Rodger White; infant twin granddaughters, White; sister and brother-in-law, Lillie and Frank Svrcina; sister, Ella Ray; brothers and sisters-in-law, Julius and Lillie Dusek Hunka and Leo and Clara Repa Hunka and infant sister, Adella Hunka. She is survived by a daughter, Norma White of Austin; grandsons, Aaron Keith and Lance White, both of Taylor; nieces, Naomi Pasemann and husband, Robert of Taylor and Irene Pelham and husband, Gene of Austin; nephews, Johnny Fojtik of Austin and John Hunka and wife, Tawn of Sugarland and numerous nieces and nephews.
