Geraldine "Gerri" Williams Rowan, 68, of Pflugerville passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at Christopher House in Austin. Celebration of Life services will be Friday, November 2, 2001, 10 AM at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Granger City Cemetery. Gerri was born January 31, 1933 in Granger to Major and Sedonia (Wendland) Williams. She grew up in Granger and lived most of her life in Pflugerville. Gerri was a homemaker and had retired from the University of Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Rowan, her parents and her brother, Jimmy Williams. Survivors include her son, Terry Rowan of Cedar Park; two daughters, Judy Howard and husband, George of Pflugerville and Sharon Jones and husband, Henry of Coupland; three grandchildren, Lindsey and Ben Howard and Tyson Jones; sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams of Granger; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thanks to Diane Banks at Hospice and Dr. Loukas and Penny at SW Regional Cancer Center.
