Bio

Ruby was the daughter of Maclin Asbury and Nancy Jane Bratton O'Daniel. She married Clay Austin on June 22, 1922 in Ashland, OK. She, Clay and brother in law, Buck Austin, operated the Austin Brothers Station south of McAlester for many years. She and her daughter, Marie, also operated The Stockyard Cafe for several years. Ruby and Clay were the parents of Homer Austin and Virginia Marie Lamb.
