Celebration of Life Services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at Wuthrich Hill with Pastor Jack Bohls and Pastor Ernie Hinojosa officiating. Burial will follow at Prince of Peace Cemetery. Agnes Marie Laura Kuhl was born on August 19, 1910 to Ernest and Anna (Teichelman) Wuthrich in Williamson County, Texas. She was the third youngest of ten children. Laura married Robert C. Kuhl on December 20, 1928 at Wuthrich Hill. They were married 49 years. This marriage was blessed with two wonderful children. She was a devoted member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at Wuthrich Hill remaining active in her church throughout all of the years. She belonged to committees too numerous to mention, she taught Sunday school for over 30 years, was a member of the Lady s Aide, and was ready to help in any capacity necessary for the good of her church. Laura was an accomplished seamstress making wedding dresses for many brides in the area. She never bought a dress herself, her skill out shining anything that may have been seen in the stores. Laura will be remembered for her strong faith, her independence, her love of gardening and her beautiful flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert C. Kuhl; an infant son; 5 brothers, Adolph; William; Edgar; Ernest; Lawrence; 4 sisters, Lydia; Clara; Lenora; and Hilda. Laura is survived by her son, Robert C. Kuhl, Jr. and wife, Gloria of Round Rock; daughter, LaVerne Rohlack and husband, Ernest of Coupland; grandchildren, Ernie; Jana; Thomas; Kathleen; Charles; Craig; 11 great grandchildren and special niece, Yvonne Gaydos. Pallbearers will be Ernie Rohlack, Thomas Rohlack, Jana Hinojosa, Charles Kuhl, Craig Kuhl, and Kathleen Halepaska. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or Cemetery in Laura's memory. Friends are invited to share their words of comfort in an online tribute at www.Providencefuneralhome.com in Laura Kuhl s memory.
