Born in Monroe Co.,he was the son of Willie R.Walden and Alice T.White Walden and the husband of Maud Bryant Walden. He was a school teacher and a Baptist Minister.He suffered a heart attack while attending Summer School in Bowling Green, Ky.He is survived by two daughters,Betty Jean England,Gamaliel,Route 1, and Carolyn Bryant Walden,Nashville;one son,James Taylor Walden at home;five brothers,Bill Walden,Lawrence Walden and Edward Walden,all of Indianapolis, Ind.,Garnett Walden and Greville Walden,both of Tompkinsville. Bro Herbert Higdon,officiated.
