Bio
Eleanora Leona Hurta, 84, a lifetime resident of Taylor passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 in SPJST Rest Home Home. She was born on Dec. 31, 1924 in Taylor, the daughter of Frank and Sophie (Bardowsky) Kincl. On February 6, 1943 she married Bennie Hurta. She was a member of Taylor Brethren Church. She worked as an insurance clerk at Johns Community Hospital for 20+ years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister. Eleanora is survived by her two sons, Ronnie Hurta and wife Geri of Taylor and Tim Hurta of Taylor; Allana Hurta of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Chris Hurta and wife Kaye, Robin Perris and husband Michael, Sandy Morris and husband Steve and Kevin Hurta; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Taylor Brethren Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Hurta, Steve Morris, Kevin Hurta, Bob Kincl, Arnold Cuba, Jr., and Robert Hirt. Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Funeral services are Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Taylor Brethren Church with Reverend James Hejl officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery. Condra Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
