Hulda Ruth Dick, age 90 of Henderson, died Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Aurora. She was born March 18, 1914 at Henderson to Henry E. and Aganetha (Brucks) Mierau. Hulda was married to John R. Dick at Henderson on June 14, 1936. Survivors include her children; Robert W. (Joann) Dick of Aurora, Evelyn (Robert) Reutzel of Sutton and Ronald Dick of Lafayette, CO; 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Helen Pankratz and Martha Friesen both of Henderson and Thelma Fagler of Lincoln. Also surviving are her brother-in-law Earl (Joy) Dick of Aurora and sisters-in-law LeVina Mierau of Henderson, Rose (Bill) Watson of New Mexico, Marie Hoffman of Aurora and Edna Dick of Harrisburg, NE. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 5 sisters and her daughter-in-law Kathie Dick. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with the Revs. Weldon Martens and George Kaufman officiating. Burial was in the Bethesda Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Bethesda Radio Broadcast.
