Bio
Billie LaFaye Reed, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother was taken to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Billie was born September 8, 1943 in Ennis, TX to John Edward and Virgie Oleene Polak. She spent the biggest part of her live in Roswell where she met the love of her life. She married Alan Paul Reed in May 1987 and was happily married for 33 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Oleene Polak; her brother Milton Polak and her sister Jane Scifres. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Alan Reed and her three daughters, Debra Forrest and husband Kelly, Robin Toole and Brenda Adair, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Billie enjoyed traveling with her husband, car races and being pit crew for her husband, painting ceramics, making baby blankets for all the new arrivals in the family and spending time with family, especially during the holidays. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
