Reed T. Street 1936 - 2020 Early Life: Reed was born December 30, 1936, in Lehi, Utah, to Edwin Isaac and Mable A. Peterson Street, the youngest of their nine children. He grew up on a farm and was a very hard worker. Growing up, he helped his parents run the Street Boat Camp at Deer Creek Reservoir during the summers. He graduated from Lehi High School where he played on the football team as a middle linebacker and running back. He went on to play for Utah State until an injury ended his career. Life's Work | Service | Interests: On May 4, 1963, Reed married his sweetheart, Midgie Audrene Peterson. They were blessed with three children and celebrated 55 years of marriage. Reed worked for a time at Geneva Steel, and then at Hercules as a Test Range Engineering Technician for close to 40 years. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, from horse racing to football. He especially loved his BYU Cougars and had season tickets for many years. He also coached Little League football and bantam basketball. After he retired, Reed was a crossing guard. The children loved to see him each day where he would give them all "high fives". He also worked as a greeter for Wal-Mart. He loved meeting people and would make friends everywhere he went. Most of all, he loved his family and wonderful wife. Robert T. Street passed from this life September 30, 2020. He was 83.
