The Plattsmouth Journal - 1968-03-07 Obituary Betty S. Barrows, daughter of Joseph and Flora Sans died Feb. 27 at the Plattsmouth Manor. She was born March 21, 1881, near Rock Bluff. She was married to Sidney B Barrows Dec. 14, 1898, at Rock Bluff. They had two children, Charles and Jessie. Services were held March 2, at Caldwell Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles E. Chandler of Murray Christian Church offic iating. Soloist was Mrs. Loren Top- llff; organist, Mrs. Twyla Hodge. Pallbearers were Clyde Frans, Leon Gansemer, Perry Nickels, John Rieke, Delbert Todd and Dale Wohlfarth. Flower Ladies were Mrs. Fred Druecker and Mrs. Gene Gruber. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Barrows Joined the Christian Church in 1894 and was baptized in the Missouri River. She lived in eastern Nebraska most of her life and moved to Murray March 1, 1915, where she lived except for two and three-quarters years in Richland, Wash. She moved back to Murray and made her home there until she entered the Manor. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Corey of Richland; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Glen Boedecker of Murray. 8he was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 6, 1921, and a son, Charles, March 24, 1967.
