Thanks to contributor #47226369 Published in the Grand Island Independent, Grand Island, Nebraska, Monday, September 17, 2007 Roland Worm, 64 Taylor Roland Guy Worm, 64, of Taylor died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Valley County Health System Hospital in Ord. Services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Burwell. Burial will be in the Kent Cemetery in rural Burwell. The Rev. Joel Rathbun will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell. Mr. Worm was born March 13, 1943, at Burwell to Guy and Marylynn (Starke) Worm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Worm, on Aug. 1, 1998. Survivors of the immediate family include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brad Worm of Grand Island and Mike and Tonya Worm of Taylor; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ronald and Dodie Worm of Taylor and Douglas Worm of Burwell; and a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Melvin Hughes of Burwell.
