Bio

Lillie was the daughter of Albert Golay and S. A. Rebecca Williams. She married Geo. O Garrett on 29 Aug 1865 in Butler Co AL. Two of their sons, George G. and Charles J., were born in AL. By 1880, they were living in Robertson Co. TX in the household of his parents, Charles C. and Louisa C. Garrett. Before 1899, Lillie was a widow, living in Houston, TX. She married Rev. Peter E. Nicholson on 30 Apr 1900 in Harris Co. and they were living in his home on Clear Lake in Seabrook when the Galveston Storm occurred and Lillie was drowned. Her remains were never recovered.
