Bio
Mr. Fallon was born in Ireland, the son of William Fallon and Margaret (Connor) Fallon. He died at his home northeast of Sherman, Texas. Mr. Fallon came to the United States at the age of 18. He settle first in Kentucky, where he married Miss Mary Elizabeth Graham on 6 November 1868, but moved to Texas in 1878 where he settle on his farm near Sherman, coming to be known as one of the most prosperous and best known farmers in this area. He was survived by his wife of almost 60 years of the home; two sons, Charles Fallon of Sherman and John Fallon of Gunter, Texas; five daughters, Misses Margaret, Sallie, Mary and Kittie Fallon all of Sherman, and Mrs. Charles O’Hagan of Sherman. He was also survived by a brother, John Fallon of Lindsey, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Haddican of Great Bend, Kansas and Miss Delia Fallon of Hollywood, California; and five grandchildren. Requiem Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Donohue at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sherman. Pallbearers were F.L. O’Hanlon, Joseph O’Hagan, Andrew Korioth. T.P. Roach, John McCullough, Charles Walcott and A. O’Hanlon. An obituary was published in the Sherman Democrat 29 October 1928.
