James Everette Minchew September 17, 1961 ~ September 8, 2020 (age 58) James Everette "Jamie" Minchew passed in the comfort of his own home on September 8,2020. Jamie was a father and stepfather, also known as Pappy to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years Angie Minchew, children;Corey Minchew, Adam Minchew, Shanna Thrash, Megan Thrash, Crystal Glenn, and Ricky Breland , numerous grandchildren, brothers Michael (Ginger) Minchew, Gary (Mitzi) Minchew, Jody(Donna) Minchew,Chris Dawson (Roy), Lisa Robinson (Dewayne),Latishia Scribner (Johnny). Jamie is preceeded in death by his parents James and Lois Minchew, Grandparents Dewey and Ida Mae Minchew, Tom and Mildred King and step-daughter Carly Ray Thrash. Jamie was loved by many and loved his wife Angie dearly. He would often joke and say that he married her for the free haircuts,but ended up costing him more! He was a die hard trucker for forty years, known to his truck driving friends as "Redneck". Pallbearers will be his nephews, Kyle Dawson, Keenum Dawson, Trey Minchew, Alec Minchew, Wesley Robinson, Austin Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Minchew, Jonothan Minchew, Mason Scribner, Caden Boutin and Caige Smith. Visitation will be Friday September 11, 2:00-3:00 P.M. at James F. Webb Funeral Home, graveside service following at 4:00 P.M. at Spring Hill Untied Methodist Church officiated by Bro. Jim Henderson. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
