Delphie Slovacek, 94, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Delphie was born on July 9, 1926, in Ennis, Texas, to the late John T. and Mary H. (Vrana) Mach. She grew up in Ennis and attended Laneview School. Delphie married Louis J. Slovacek on June 17, 1947, and they made their home in Ennis. She was a member of KJZT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; five brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include her son, Steven Slovacek, Sr.; daughter, Gladys Darnall; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; many extended family members and numerous friends.
