Bio

Mary Americus Amanda Poe Wood, my great grandmother, became a widow at the young age of 29. Her husband, Henry Edwin Wood, died as a result of a train accident at the young age of 30. My grandmother, Dolores Marie Wood Culp , was only 2 months old at the time. Her sisters were Myrtle Wood Pearce , age 3 years, Mildred Henrietta Wood Culp , age 1 year. Daughter of: Andrew Jackson Poe (1837 Tenn. - 1922 Texas) Ida Ann Muse (1840 Tenn. - 1922 Texas)
