Bio

Miss Harriet G. Fox, daughter of Mrs. Helen Fox, died Thursday at Omaha after a 8 month illness. The funeral will be held Monday with burial in Prospect Hill cemetery. She was born September 10, 1929 at Chambers to Mr. and Mrs. George Fox. "She was attending the ninth grade in the Norfolk schools when illness forced her to quit her education." She was survived by her mother Mrs. Helen Fox, 1 sister Mrs. Joyce Nielson at Norfolk, 5 brothers: Marine PFC Francis in the southwest Pacific, S. 2/C Earl somewhere in the south Pacific, Willis and Wallace both at Norfolk, Arthur at Omaha, 5 aunts, 6 uncles, 16 cousins. She was preceded in death by her father in 1941, 1 brother Marine Corps Steuart Fox who was fatally wounded on Tarawa.
