Bio

Martha Jane Rogers Vander, 76, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Monday, August 24, 2020. Martha was born in LaFollette, TN, but was a proud lifelong resident of Rosepine, LA. She worked many years as a cafeteria worker and teacher aide for Rosepine School District. She happily spent her retired years as a homemaker. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kelvin Vander and Sue of Rosepine, LA, Roger Vander and Melinda also of Rosepine, LA; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty-four years, Luther R. Vander; parents, George and Dovie Rogers; one brother; five sisters.
