Ruby Faye Sallis, age 91, of Yantis, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Carriage House Manor. Mrs. Sallis was born on November 13, 1923 in Hillsboro, TX, the daughter of Jesse Walter Keeton and Minnie Wells Keeton. She married James Milton Sallis in December of 1966. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Sallis was a bookkeeper for Foremost Dairy for many years. She volunteered for meal-a-day in Yantis until she could not do it anymore. She loved to bowl with her friends and made many friends. She was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her step-daughter, Sarah Laos of Denton, nephews, Lesly Simpson of Cumby, Mike Simpson of Sulphur Springs, Jack Simpson of Austin and Charley Simpson of Sulphur Springs, niece Diana Williams of Elgin, TX. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death her parents, and brother, Less Conway. Services will be held at a later date.
