Letha Ernisteen Shanz, age 80, of Wichita Fall, Texas, passed away on August 16. She was born on March 10, 1940, in Sherman, Texas, to Terry and Jewel Rogers. She went to school in Abilene, Texas, before attending Baptist Bible College and Drury College in Springfield. She attended the Salvation Army Church. She was a homemaker whose interests included sewing and quilting. She was united in marriage to George E. Shanz, on February 21, 1958, in Mesquite, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Terry and Jewel Rogers; husband, George E. Shanz; and daughter, Theressa Shanz. She is survived by 3 sons, Roger Shanz (spouse Lori), Spencer Shanz (spouse Qwanda), and Mark Shanz; 6 grandchildren, Stephanie, Lyssa, Ilyea, Lynittia, Jasmine, and Natasha; 5 great-grandchildren, Elena, Aiden, Lucien, Asher, and Aziyah; and brothers, Randall Rogers (spouse Barbara), Terry Rogers, and Irwin Rogers. The graveside at White Chapel Cemetery.
