Daughter Josephine, b 1880, appeared on Arkansas Census This biographical information from familysearch.org. Josephine Knox was the ninth of fourteen children born to Samuel Knox and Sarah Jordan Knox. Josephine was born in August of 1854 in Tallapoosa Co., Alabama and she married Marion Spencer Moore, Sr. who had been born in 1847, the son of Austin Moore. Josephine Knox Moore and her husband, Marion Spencer Moore Sr. lived in Sebastian Co., Ark. according to the 1880 census; then in 1893 death claimed Josephine at age 39, in Honey Grove, Texas. Josephine and Marion had brought eight children into this life during their marriage. After Josephine died, Marion married again, but his second wife's name is not known; they had a daughter of their own; then Marion passed away in 1912 in Kemp, Okla.
