Bio

Adella Fuhr, 94, of Leigh, died Sunday, August 16, 2020, at the Stanton Health Care Center. Adella was born December 30, 1925, near Richland, Nebraska to Joseph and Jenny (Dietrich) Fendrick. She attended area schools. On April 24, 1949, she married Raymond Fuhr at the Congregational Church in Leigh. They lived and farmed northwest of Leigh. Ray died in 2015. Adella was a proud member of New Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson and was known for her excellent strudel and dumplings. Adella is survived by sons Darrell(Judy) Fuhr and Kenneth(Bev) Fuhr, all of Leigh, one daughter, Karen(Tom) Zegers of Omaha, a brother-in-law Gordon(Norma) Fuhr of Leigh, grandchildren Krisiti Fuhr and special friend Eric Benner of Denver, Brent Fuhr and special friend Keli Eihusen, Lincoln, Brian (Marie) Fuhr, Leigh, Jarrod Fuhr and special friend Teri Held, Stanton, Angela (Bret) Kratochvil, Norfolk, John (Emily) Zegers, Gretna, and Daniel (Megan) Zegers, Papillion, nine great-grandchildren; Ava, Atley and Kasen Kratochvil, Cohen and Kael Fuhr, Raelynn Fuhr and Holden, Hendrick and Madison Zegers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant sister, Rose and five brothers; Emil, Adolph, Joe, Henry and Lewis Fendrick. Funeral Service Thursday, August 20, 2020 10:30 A.M. New Zion Presbyterian Church, Clarkson, Nebraska Jerry L. Kracl, officiating Visitation Thursday 9-10:30 A.M. in the church Committal in the Leigh Cemetery immediately following the Service Covid Restrictions apply
