Bio
Leo Walter Rust was born July 12, 1922, in Glencoe to Walter and Hazel (Hatfield) Rust and passed away, Monday, August 17, 2020, at Maple Lawn Manor, at the age of 98 years, 1 month and 5 days. Leo and his family moved to Hydro when he was a small child. He was raised and attended school in Hydro. On May 7 1941, he married Cleola "Babe" Dalke in El Reno and made their home on a farm south of Hydro. They retired from farming in 1981 and moved into Hydro. They loved to travel and enjoyed several trips. Leo enjoyed reading westerns, watching Thunder games, and visiting with family and friends. Leo is survived by his two daughters, Donna Kimble and husband, Jim of Hydro and Sandra Cowan of Yukon; three grandchildren, Kellie Leathers and husband, Mark , Brent Kimble and wife, Tara and Laura White all of Yukon; five great-grandchildren, Skyler Jones and husband, Garrett of Enid, Kassidy Leathers, Ryan Kimble, Aiden Kimble and Landon White of Yukon; and two special cousins, Doris Stevens and Dorothy Pinkston. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, "Babe"; two sisters, Zola Jones and Lola Dumas; and brothers-in-law, Beryl Jones and Troy Dumas.
