The Custer County Chief - 27 Sep 1951, P. 9 FINAL RITES AT NATIONAL HALL FOR MRS. ANNA ROHDE Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna Rohde, 57, who dies in her home in Los Angeles, Sept 9th, were held Saturday at 2 pm at National Hall, with the Rev. Merle Zook of Sargent in charge. Music was furnished by the Rev. Lowen Kruse and Mrs. William Higgins, who sang "Abide with Me" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", accompanied at the piano by Mrs. R. J. Stone. Burial was in Jungman cemetery with Spooners funeral home in charge. Mrs. Rohde spent several months in Comstock two and a half years ago, caring for her aged mother, Mrs. Anna (Stefka) Pesek, who died in October 1949. Survivors are a son, George Rohde of Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Fitzpatrick, Los Angeles; three grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Stefka of Comstock, John Stefka of Broken Bow and Joe Stefka of Holly, Colo; and many other relatives. A son preceded her in death.
