Bio
Funeral services for Mr. Bruce English, 76, of Tatum, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. Ted White officiating. Interment will follow at Tatum Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson. Mr. English passed away August 11, 2020, at Highland Pines Nursing and Rehab in Longview. He was born June 2, 1944 in Alba, TX to the late JC and Mary (Patrick) English. He was a graduate from Spring Hill High School in Longview, TX. After graduation, he served his country in the United States Air Force. Bruce had many hobbies that he enjoyed such as bowling, fishing, playing dominos, and he was an avid sports fan. He worked at Letourneau and Hercules as a machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Mary English. Survivors include: wife, Beth English of Tatum; children, Gail English Thedford and husband Michael of Tatum, Pam Ellis and husband Ralph of Corinth, Brad English and wife Wendi of Longview; grandchildren, Bethany Thedford, Cody Ellis, Chelsea Ellis and Alex Alford; brother, Gary English and wife Mary Jane of Longview; brothers-in-law, Tony Broome and Mike Broome, both of Tatum; niece, Jana Taylor and husband Chris of Longview; nephews, Rusty English and wife Mary Ann of Houston, Lynn English and Kristi of Paris, Michael Broome of Tatum; and several great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
