Bio

Charles Marshall Rhodes, 94, of McCrory, Arkansas passed away on August 2, 2020 from cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Kelsie I. (Jacobs) Rhodes, his two daughters: Sandra (Bob) Homan, of Searcy, Arkansas, and Janet (Jerry) Taylor of Huntley, Illinois; as well as three granddaughters: Jenae (Kristy) Taylor, Jessica (J.D.) Bacon and Jamie (Hunter) Taylor. He is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Dorothy A. Coates, and niece, Kristi (Danny) Payne. Charles was born in Vanndale, Arkansas to his late parents, Charles A. and Eler Rhodes. He served on the USS Bougainville in the U S Navy during World War II. Charles retired from Reynolds Metals Company, McCook, Illinois after 34 years. Charles was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in McCrory for many years. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Vanndale Cemetery in Vanndale, Arkansas.
