Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Tuesday, 20 May 1947 Ralph Judy Dies of Heart Attack Resident of Alda Community Entire Lifetime Ralph C. Judy, 59, a farmer of the Alda community, died of a heart attack yesterday in a convalescent home here. Mr. Judy, son of Charles and Emma Judy, had been a resident of the Alda community all his life. He married the former Joy Quisenberry and three children were born to them. Mrs. Judy and a son, Glenn, preceded him in death. He married Hazel White on Aug. 3, 1943. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Lifsey, West Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. W. J. Flanders, Santa Monica, Cal., and one sister, Mrs. Carl Dressen, Alhambra, Cal. Funeral services will be announced later. The Geddes funeral home is in charge of arrangements. ********** Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Wednesday, 21 May 1947 Funeral services for Ralph C. Judy, Alda, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Geddes funeral home. The Rev. C. B. Harmon, retired pastor of St. Paul's English Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Alda cemetery. Friends may call at the Geddes funeral home between 7 and 9 o'clock this evening.
