Bio

Funeral services were held at the Porter-Schaub Chapel Sunday afternoon for James D. Barnes, 84, who died at his home in Olney Friday. Burial was at Maple Dale cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Long, of Olney; one son Oscar Barnes, of Olney; two brothers, John Barnes, of Olney and Clinton Barnes,of Rantoul, and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Rodgers, of Champaign and Mrs. Nancy Conour, of Claremont. Published in the Olney Advocate, Thursday, February 16, 1939
