Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Johnson Ellias will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Roger Toney officiating. Interment will follow in Cooley Cemetery, Slagle, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mrs. Ellias, 97, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Hilltop Nursing Center, Pineville, LA. She was a retired aid with Pinecrest State School and enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting and watching old movies. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnathan and Lena Johnson; two husbands, James A. Williams and Elexson Ellias; two sons, James G. Williams and Johnathan Pred Williams; one daughter, Brenda Craig Williams; one brother, Allie Johnson and three sisters, Madge Porrier, Blanche Corley and Julia Ruth Gandy. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two sons, Kenneth Williams and his wife, Mary Beth, of Palestine, TX. and Ronald Williams and his wife, Peggy, of Pineville; two daughters, Rita Williams, of Pineville and Sarah Dauzat, of Ball; eighteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
