Denver Post, The (CO) - October 28, 2015 Eloise 'Becky' Whitaker age 88, passed away Saturday October 24, 2015.She was born June 7th 1927 in Litchfield, Minnesota , to Agnes and George Beckstrand. Eloise is survived by Philip, loving husband, ... 2 sons, 2 grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by her parents Agnes and George Beckstrand. Becky was a talented church organist and pianist for 67 years. She spent those years helping thousands worship and celebrate the Lord through her music. She was married to her beloved husband Phil for 68 years. She was a member of the American Guild of Organists, Colonial Church of Edina, Emmanuel United Methodist Church and Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church. Becky's greatest joy was entertaining friends and parishioners through her music. She took great pride in passing her talent and love of music on to countless students, young and old through private lessons. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29th at 2:00pm at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, 10150 East Belleview Ave., Englewood, Colorado 80111.
