Elmore B Floyd, 11 April 1914 – 18 March 1956, Family Search ID (GD6G-MQG) Elmore B Floyd was born on 11 April 1914, in Celina, Collin County, Texas. He was the second of five children born to Leander A Floyd and Beulah Lee Flanery. His siblings were Ruby Elizabeth Floyd, Ernest Floyd, Harold Floyd and George McKinley Floyd. He lived in Piatt, Illinois, in 1920 and Champaign, Illinois, in 1930. Elmore passed away on 18 March 1956, in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California, at the age of 41, and was buried in Mountain View Memorial Park, Barstow, California. Per Death Certificate Elmore B Floyd passed away March 18, 1956, at San Bernardino County Hospital, San Bernardino, California. He was crushed by a moving train seven hours earlier while at work in Barstow, California. He was born April 11, 1914, in Texas to Lee Floyd and Beulah Flannery. (Father from Kentucky, mother from Texas). He was a laborer for the railroad and a widower at the time of his death.
