Mary Ann Moler passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Life Care Center in Casper, Wyoming, at the age of 94. Mary Ann was born on March 10, 1926 in Schuyler, Nebraska, to James and Mary (Groulik) Pavlicek. She graduated from Schuyler High School in 1944, and received her Registered Nurse degree from Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Following graduation she was selected to be a nurse with the Medical Cadet Program. Mary Ann met John Moler on a blind date in Hastings, NE. They were married in Lincoln, NE, on September 22, 1947, and their union lasted 72 years. They were blessed with two children, Richard and Mary. They had made their home in Casper since August 1953. Mary Ann’s career included work as a nurse in a doctor’s office and at Girl Scout camp. She was involved in many community volunteer endeavors ranging from election official to youth leader. After her children had grown she worked at several businesses. Mary Ann loved to be around kids, celebrate holidays, and bring goodies and smiles to the kid in all of us. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, creating greeting cards, and cooking. She was always there as a supportive mother first and foremost and had the best advice. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother James. Memorial services will be at a later date. Mary Ann is at rest with John at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home, 600 CY Avenue, Casper, WY 82601.
