Obituary Notice: Anthony F. "Tony" Kosmicki September 25, 1948- May 2, 2008 Residence: Red Feather Lakes Tribute: Anthony Frank Kosmicki was born and raised in Alliance, NE to Francis and Cashmierie (Grudzinski) Kosmicki. He attended St. Agnes Academy and graduated when he was 17 years old in 1966. Mr. Kosmicki enlisted in the United States Marines in 1967 and served in Vietnam. After returning home from the service Tony married Carol Hollinrake in 1970. He later divorced and married Laura Whitmore, whom he was with for 25 years. Tony was a member of the American Legion Post 7 in Alliance, NE. He also belonged to a Country Western Band, Cimmarron for many years. Mr. Kosmicki died Friday May 2, 2008 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. Survivors: children, Amanda Oliva and Patrick Longstreth of Greeley, Sonia Baxley and husband Ryan of Greeley, Josh Kosmicki of Orlando, FL and Nikki of Red Feather Lakes; grandchildren, Mark Oliva and wife Annie, Ashley, Tristan and Jayda Oliva, Elizabeth Kosmicki, Faith and Will Baxley; great grandchildren, Jordan and Lexi Oliva; other family members, Janice Weixelman, Laura Whitmore, Carol Hollinrake, Anthony Oliva, numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends; brothers, Jerome Kosmicki of Grand Island, NE, Don Kosmicki of Overland Park, KS, Fr. Ray Kosmicki of St. Paul, NE, Mike Kosmicki of Alliance, NE, David Kosmicki of Greeley; sisters, Alice Dirks of Greeley, Bernice Smith of Fort Worth, TX.
