Pensacola News Journal; 22 Jun 1987, Mon; Page 12; Pensacola, Florida HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL KERN Mrs. Amanda Jane Kern, 96, of Pensacola, died Sunday in a local hospital. Mrs. Kern was a native of Baldwin County and had resided in Pensacola for the past 78 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors Include one daughter, Maxine Hightower of Pensacola; two sons, Aubrey Brewton of Pensacola and Edward Kern of Auburn, Ala. She is also pre-deceased by Roland, Monroe and Inez. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday in the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Dr. Henry Roberts officiating. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Bayview Memorial Park with Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel directing.
