Bio
Regina was born on a farm south of Stratton, Nebraska to Frank and Mary (Sis) Stehno on July 1,1922. Regina grew up on a farm north of Stratton, attended country school and graduated from Stratton High School. She taught at a country school north of Culbertson, Nebraska, graduated from the University of Nebraska and was employed by the Veterans Administration in San Bernardino, California. She later returned to Nebraska where she was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation in Trenton, NE. On November 1, 1958 she married James Weskamp (formerly of McCook,NE) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratton. They have one son, Roger Weskamp. Reggie and James lived in Omaha. James passed away September 7, 1967 in Omaha. Reggie was employed by the University of Nebraska in Omaha until 1972. She was involved with athletics at the YMCA for many years. She enjoyed swimming, aerobics and walking.
