Bio
Son of Carroll & Mary Ann (Ditter) Laudenklos. Larry attended many schools in the US and overseas during his father's military career, graduating from high school in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He entered the United States Army on July 23, 1970, attending helicopter maintenance school in Fort Eustis, Virginia. Larry served during the Vietnam War from June 17, 1971, to April 18, 1973, as a crew chief on helicopters. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Badge, Air Medal, Overseas Bar, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He married Connie Neeley on May 14, 1988 in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Larry enjoyed fishing, swimming, skating, and working with computers. Larry is survived by: Wife - Connie Laudenklos of Hope Mills, NC Daughter - Angie (Larry) Cashwell of Fayetteville, NC Stepson - Josh Neeley of Charlotte, NC Grandson - Grant Cashwell of Fayetteville, NC Granddaughter - Ashely Cashwell of Fayetteville, NC Parents - Carroll and Mary Ann Laudenklos of Columbus, NE Larry was preceded in death by: Grandparents - Mr. & Mrs. Reynold Ditter & Mr. & Mrs. Harry Laudenklos Uncles - Dale, Dave, & Bob Laudenklos
