PRAESEL, Mrs. Mary Annie of Rockdale. Age 81. Died 5/29/1975 (Thursday) in Boswell Nursing Home after being in failing health for several years. Services held (Sat.) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in IOOF Cemetery. Rev. Waldemar Wendel officiated. BORN in Williamson Co. 2/2/1894 to M/M. Lawrence Wilhelm. Married Carl A. Praesel on 1/9/1909 in Taylor, he died in 1959 and daughter, Mrs. Louise Von Gonten, died 1951. Member Peace Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS: 8 sons, Arthur Praesel, Carl Praesel, Emile Praesel, Alvin Praesel and Floyd M. Praesel, all of Rockdale, Albert Praesel of San Antonio, Ernest Praesel of Waco, Oscar Praesel of New Jersey and Lawrence Praesel of Texas City; 4 daughters, Mrs. Dora Pozlin of Houston, Mrs. Annie Pelzel of Rockdale, Mrs. Emma Sealoff of Thrall and Mrs. Mary E. Bounds of Austin; brother, Herman Wilhelm, Austin; 2 half-brothers, Albert Wilhelm and Frank Wilhelm, both of Austin; sister Mrs. Emma Stremann, Buda; half-sister, Mrs. Lena Caine, Thrall; 41 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
