JONES, Mrs. Emma Jackson of Rockdale. Age 83. Died 3/6/1985 in Manor Oaks Nursing Home after a sudden illness. Services held (Thursday) in the Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, Rockdale. Rev. Doug Springer officiated. She was BORN 1/31/1902 in the Reeder Comm. in Milam Co. to M/M. William Nelson & Sarah McFarland Smith. Married Clyde Patrick Jackson in 1917 in Rockdale. She was a Rockdale resident for 33 yrs. and was formerly a resident of Milano. Preceded in death by her first husband in 1951. She married Spergeon H. Jones on 4/15/1961. Mr. Jones preceded her in death on 4/25/1983. SURVIVORS: Son, Floyd Jackson of Rockdale; daughter, Morene Jackson Stewart of Rockdale; 5 grandchildren, Barbara Garner, Patricia McLerran, Sandra Ansley, Teresa Jackson and Janice Bownds; 6 great-grandchildren.
